Acceeding to WIPO treaties

Acceeding to a treaty can involve a lot of preparatory work for government officials. We assist in navigating the process through events that focus on processes, procedures, prerequisites, etc.

After acceding to a treaty, countries should translate its provisions into their own legislative system. WIPO offers both general and tailor-made legal advice to help make sure that government officials avoid common mistakes.
